​Each of us has light and shadow within us, waiting for expression and release. Each of the 5Rhythms® - Flow, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness – also has its own innate and unique gifts and hidden manifestations of energy.

Mostly, us humans let the light parts we really enjoy be seen by the world, and then there are the parts that are dark and difficult that we avoid, ignore and pretend don't exist. These dark and difficult places accumulate energy, and use up vital force in ways that are destructive. Using the innate gifts of the rhythms, we will dance with both sets of energy as a way to explore and stay as present as possible to every moment and every instance; and to embody the light, beautiful, creative vital energies. Exploring the dichotomy of life while simultaneously embracing the shadows, can release your unique brilliance into full illumination.
