“Je est un autre” — I is another.

Rimbaud’s famous line evokes a question to the belief in a single, determined “self”. Rather, it is an acknowledgement of the fluid self that includes an inner self that is undefined and mysterious.

My Other Sides is an invitation to explore our inner x outer selves with curiosity and a sense of play (openness). We tap into the natural shape shifting nature of play and creativity to explore how these other sides inspire us erotically.

This workshop invites you to give expression to these inner x outer sources of inspiration for 4 days. In dance, touch, play, words, art.

A creative, somatic and sensual journey, we will explore:

• In what ways may I sense these sides, may I meet them in myself and others?
• How may I give them expression within an experimental and safe(r) space?
• What if (another) side of me could offer me a new way of relating to myself? To others?
• What forms of expression emerge when “identify” is allowed to bend – to play and create?

All CLOSER workshops invite us into our sense of aliveness by offering permission to the erotic life force energy that nourishes our unique way of being in this world. Rather than relegating the erotic to a compartment of life or dumbing it down to the sexual, we allow it to breath creativity, openness, integrity and vulnerability.

Join us and approach your eroticism as the creative force it is, reaching far beyond a narrow understanding of eroticism as “sex”.

While physical nudity is invited, it is never required or expected. We respect all boundaries and support every body throughout the retreat (please visit FAQ’s for more info).
