A dance.” ~ Gabrielle Roth In this workshop we will investigate the nature of what creates us, exploring our relationship with Flowing/feminine and Staccato/masculine, through the practice of the dance. How do these energies empower and balance us? How can we use this wisdom to create what we want most in this life? When these two powerful forces come together they create something new. Come explore the power of your own manifestation! Let your body be your guide as we honor the two primal energies that reside in all of us. The 5Rhythms is a moving meditation practice, an improvisational form of dance that maps how energy moves through the patterns, rhythms, and cycles of life. Flowing connects us to our feminine nature. Staccato connects us to our masculine nature. Chaos marries and integrates these two energies. As a result we find transformation in Lyrical. From this transformative space we are then connected to Stillness, a compassionate connection to self, partners and community.
