A weekend workshop exploring the shadows’ map of the 5Rhythms.

The shadow is the part of us that we hide, the part that we're ashamed of, the part that we don't want anyone to see. But it's also the part of us that has the most power and potential.

In this weekend workshop, we dance the shadows map of the 5Rhythms. In Flowing, we meet our inertia and transform the resistance into fluid motion. In Staccato, we transform tension into clear action. In Chaos, we embrace uncertainty and overwhelm by practising our ability to let go and surrender. In Lyrical, we move from a spaced out, disconnected state into a connected and soulful place and in Stillness, we meet numbness and transform it into presence and aliveness. 

Dancing the light and shadow reveals both sides of our true nature. Through practising the 5Rhythms we learn the shadow is not something to be feared or denied, but rather something to be embraced and understood. As Gabrielle says,

                    “When we can embrace our shadow, we become whole."
