I am a 5Rhythms® Teacher in Training in Boston, mentored by Ray Diaz and Stuart Phillips.
I am a musician — French horn, piano, and composer.  When my sister Karen first brought me to her 5Rhythms class, it felt like home. The full spectrum of music took me over — as the sounds washed over me, it brought me into the present moment.
Some time later, my sister offered a 5Rhythms workshop called "Grief and Loss."  I had just lost my daughter. In that space, I experienced the profound healing capacity of 5Rhythms. Its creator, Gabrielle Roth, wrote: “Put your body in motion, and the psyche will heal itself.† Through moving my body, I found tears, the depth of connection, and release.
Since a young age I have been drawn to transformation and personal growth.  5Rhythms offers a path of embodied transformation — a direct, physical way to access what is going on for me, release what no longer serves, and reconnect with what is most alive and authentic.
I have invented a number of medical devices. Â What I invent while dancing is my creation, and an ongoing discovery of who I really am.
In introducing me to 5Rhythms, my sister told me "I am giving you the most supportive, loving community you can imagine." Â She was right.
My teaching is an inquiry and exploration of tonalities, movement, awakening, and transformation. Â In my space you are invited to explore your own rhythm, your own story, your own freedom in motion.
Come as you are. The dance will meet you there.
