Most of us have learned to brace for the next thing. Like the uncomfortable conversation or the unexpected bad news. We experience so much in our lives that many of us are in a permanent brace.

Life, it turns out, has the same manners as a Johannesburg storm. No warning. No mercy. And whilst bracing is an instinctive response, it just makes it harder to ride.

This workshop is a day to stop white-knuckling it. To find out your body already knows how to move with the storm, not just survive it.

Something always waits on the other side. The temperature dropping five degrees. That particular smell of rain hitting hot earth. Flying termites taking to the air, wings scattered on wet ground by morning. A liminal hour before the light goes.

We will move through the 5Rhythms wave shaped by the arc of a storm. The sensing. The gathering. The breaking. The riding and the not-knowing. And the stillness when it's done - move as if the air has cleared, as if the dust has settled.
