RADICAL EMBODIMENT will be a joyful retreat, nourishing and uplifting, a celebration of life in all its forms, with all its challenges. A wild and tender mix of dance, movement and somatic workshops, time in nature, time together and time for yourself.

The workshops offered at RADICAL EMBODIMENT will invite us into deeper embodiment - into rootedness, into the aliveness and flow of our body, into feeling at home in our own skin. Our capacity to truly connect to the sensations and emotions of our body enables us to open into an awareness of the present moment; we soften, de-armour, and embrace a sense of interconnection with all of life. 

You're invited into a radical shift from the momentum of stress and lack, into an inner smile. A shift that nourishes our natural longing to take our place and offer our gifts, to the challenges of our times.

VENUE

Sadhaka has three stunning dance spaces, outside and inside. The unspoilt yet carefully tended land is abundant with many beautiful trees, meandering paths, shady spots and spaces to relax and sunbathe. Enjoy a swim in the fresh water lake and sit by the river and dream awhile. You can take a wood fired sauna or sit around the fire in the evening. Bring your own tent, hire one of the luxurious ones provided, bring a camper van or stay in a room.

We are an experienced team of trauma informed, conscious dance, ecstatic dance and somatic practitioners who love each other and delight in co-creating a safe, connecting, drop in deep Dance and Movement Retreat. 

OUTLINE SCHEDULE

Day 1 Opening dance and ritual 

Days 2 - 6 Early morning session (yoga / somatic movement / meditation)

            Full energy dance session every morning

    Deeper Dive dance / movement workshops in the afternoons

            A varied evening program including Ecstatic Dance, space, sauna

Take part in as many of the sessions as you wish, take space when you need.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

All welcome, those new to dance and experienced dancers.

Due to the international nature of this camp the official language is English.

Radical Embodiment is hosted by Wim Molinello and Chandra Benjamins, the owners of Sadhaka in France and co-organised by Willemijn de Dreu and Jo Hardy.
