This workshop is a unique combination of 5Rhythms® and Somatic Experiencing®, offering an elective experience within the 5Rhythms curriculum.5Rhythms serves as the foundation for this weekend. Dancing the Wave helps us achieve a state of equilibrium and quiets the mind. Throughout the weekend, we will engage in body-oriented practices from Somatic Experiencing, designed to alleviate the effects of trauma. By tuning into our felt sense, we will learn to listen to our bodies and their responses, fostering a deeper connection with our nervous system.
In addition to group sessions, a few participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one Somatic Experiencing sessions, with the group serving as witnesses.

Elective workshops combine the 5Rhythms practice with other disciplines. These workshops hold true to the 5Rhythms Maps and weave in deep investigations that compliment the teachings. This workshop will count as an Elective on the 5Rhythms Dancing Path towards Teacher Training.
