This five-day Heartbeat workshop is an excellent opportunity to discover the depth of 5Rhythms dance. Physically, emotionally, and intellectually. When we dance for an extended period of time, the path to full presence opens. You can feel, hear, see, smell and think with a clarity you may have never experienced before. A rebirth.Each day we will explore a rhythm on a physical and emotional level. The 5Rhythms are our guide. This workshop is a prerequisite for dancers who wish to participate in the 5Rhythms teacher training. But more importantly, it is a gateway for anyone who wants to live fully.
5Rhythms is a movement meditation practice. In this five-day intensive, we will explore all aspects of our essential emotions: fear, anger, sadness, joy, and compassion. Our hearts unfolding.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
