Rich Wiltshire has been an accredited 5Rhythms® teacher since 2016 and has practised the healing and moving arts for over 30 years, including training as a tai chi teacher. His teaching is gentle yet potent, rooted in a deep connection to the natural world and the transformative power of the 5Rhythms wave. Drawing on lived experience as well as long practice, he holds spaces that are clear, compassionate, and well-structured - supporting self-acceptance, creative change, and healing.
Rich is based in Brixton, South London, and has taught Simply Being 5Rhythms weekly since 2018. Over the years, Simply Being has grown into a thriving weekly community with a strong sense of belonging and deepening social connection. That long-term weekly container also informs his wider access work through Unbound Moving Arts CIC.
Through Unbound Moving Arts CIC programmes, his work has included specialist workshops for people living with chronic illness, supporting deeper acceptance, pacing, and nervous-system-friendly movement. Unbound has also delivered mental health-focused programmes designed to support adults experiencing significant mental health challenges into regular, supportive movement spaces.
During the pandemic, Simply Being moved outdoors to the Community Gardens in Brockwell Park, using silent-disco headsets.
Alongside his teaching, Rich is a founder member and Executive Director of Unbound Moving Arts CIC, which exists to widen access to embodied arts practice for adults who are underrepresented or excluded from mainstream cultural spaces. Based in Lambeth, Unbound supports older adults, people living with disability or long-term health conditions, and residents experiencing social isolation or economic
