We show up. The practice meets us exactly where we are.
The dance takes us exactly where we need to be. And then we remember, just like Gabrielle Roth said "You didn't think this was really about dancing, did you?"
Paradoxes are my allies.
How to dissolve into subtle realms from a state of groundedness? How to be We from solidly owning and exploring being I?
I love the dance as a Koan that breaks many knots free and that opens us to unravel more directly from the unknown. Moving from discovery, open to the great Mystery.
I experience the dance as a transformative agent, a question full of potential that renews and updates itself.
My background as a bodyworker, and a Yoga-, Qi gong- and meditation-practitioner infuses the sessions with an attention to sensorial fields and the scope of body intelligence. I love where the understanding of anatomy meets the understanding of patterns, where tangible meets the intangible.
I invite us to come together, with the sacredness and aloneness of a vision quest, and with the natural unity that comes when we realize in embodied ways that truly there is only one of us here. And that this One is danced and dancer, created and creator.
