All of us must constantly navigate beginnings, middles, and endings. The question is how it feels to live in these passages, and what can aid us on our way.
5Rhythms practice has good bones to lean into, in moment-by-moment dance and in day-to-day life. We're invested in creating well-held space that allows meaningful, instinctive movement to come fully alive, and then to bridge helpfully into our lives. In these workshops we'll offer embodiment skills that can enhance how we initiate and negotiate starts, changes, and completions in life. We'll use touchstones of the practice to help you meet yourself where you're at. We’ll bring trusty foundations to ground the group and kindle dance that heartens its dancers. There will be time and space to ease into being and moving with your own interests, needs, and processes. You don't need experience to join us.
All people 15+ welcome. Accessible, gender-neutral facilities. Chairs available for seated practice.
Your questions about these workshops are welcome! Email Chantell at chantell@chantellfoss.com.
Tiered pricing allows those who have more to share, and those who could use support to receive it. When you register at the Generosity rate, part of your fee is applied to another dancer's reduced-rate spot. If a lower price will make the event accessible for you, please register at the Supported rate. If you want to dance and these prices are a barrier for you, please email chantell@chantellfoss.com to talk about partial scholarship or work exchange.
