When life moves quickly – demanding our attention and engagement on several different fronts at once – we may find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, under-resourced, scattered or resistant. Other times, we may find that change sneaks up on us slowly. Until we take stock, we may barely notice that significant shifts – in our relationships, work, and other areas – have happened. Whether it is sudden or slow, welcome or unwelcome, change is a fact of life. And our day-to-day commitments may not easily provide the time, space, or quality of attention that we need in order to integrate these changes. In this one-day workshop, we'll use the 5Rhythms movement practice, partner work, and witnessing to explore, embody, and attend to the changes that want our attention. I invite you to take refuge in this full day of practice. Together we’ll take time to let the changes catch up to us, so that we may be restored, and returned more fully to the moment.
