In this one-day workshop we'll explore the physical qualities and vibration of Lyrical: the rhythm of trance, embodied imagination, commitment and maturity, and sheer dumb luck. The light touch of Lyrical guides and re-patterns us, and is a graceful, essential part of life. When we partner with it, this rhythm can lead us into new possibilities, next steps, and unexpected outcomes. Lyrical lifts us beyond personality and into the embodiment of soul; it teaches us to hold ourselves lightly, to expand in full flight, and to participate, on purpose, in the ever-changing nature of this one-and-only life. If we resist this rhythm – if we consistently attempt to contain (or deny) our multifaceted, interconnected, shape-shifting nature – we may fall instead into unconscious vacancies, habits, trances and bad contracts. Through the gateway of Chaos we enter the field of Lyrical, where apparent opposites put down their fight and our in-the-moment, shape-shifting dances weave together with grace.
