Join Syzygy Dance Project founder, Sylvie Minot, and co-founder Wendy Heffner from Friday, May 5, 2023, to Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Newtown Australia for a special Medicine Circle event.

You will take inspiration from famous Newtown street art, unique neighborhood vibes filled with food, pubs, bicycles, hipsters, and students, a rich aboriginal history, and mild, sunny weather.
Developed by 5Rhythms teacher Sylvie Minot 15 years ago, Medicine Circle combines powerful lineages—Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms Movement, cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien Ph.D.'s Four-Fold Way, and sound healing with Peruvian master Tito LaRosa.
In Medicine Circle, you dance, and the circle holds the big, small, quiet, loud, joyful, still, cathartic, and everything-in-between dances. Sylvie and Wendy use sound—drums, rattles, bells, rain sticks, and song—to call Spirit back in. We pray, for ourselves, for others, and for the greater whole. You will call on your ancestors, guides, and the spirit of the land, honoring your past and creating new pathways for healing.
Dancing together in this sacred way is our medicine.

Medicine Circle Facilitators:

Sylvie Minot

Sylvie Minot is the Executive Director and Founder of Syzygy Dance Project, a 5Rhythms teacher, ordained minister, and creator of Medicine Circle.

Wendy Heffner

Wendy Heffner trained as a 5Rhythms Movement Therapist and has used dance as a transformational practice for over 20 years.

Together, Sylvie and Wendy have led Medicine Circles throughout the United States, Mexico, and Australia.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available with 28 days' notice before the event (less a $20 admin fee). If notice is received closer to the event, if we are able to fill your spot, we are happy to provide a full refund less the $60 admin fee.

WORKSHOP NIVEL

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PRERREQUISITOS: No prerequisites required.
