In this workshop we create intentional space for the timing of how each of us ‘unfolds’ in our own unique journeys of expression through the dance.We will bring some focus to the Rhythm of Staccato and the steady pulse of energy that ignites our own heart(s) of truth. The dance gives us pathways to move and to express that which is waiting within us, supported always by the breath of life moving through us.The 5Rhythms® is our map into this physical landscape of exploration. Rather than a map which we follow to get somewhere, the map supports us in being here now with ‘what is’. This ‘now’ is unfolding from moment to moment.
When I see my garden now in the early Spring, it is both obvious and astounding that each flower has it’s own unique moment of opening. A unique expression of life. Suddenly there each one is, spontaneously and without a timer or a watch, appearing in it’s own perfect creative beauty.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
