Energy moves in waves. Waves move in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms. A human being is just that, energy, waves, patterns, rhythms" - Gabrielle Roth.

The 5Rhythm Wave maps an organic cycle of movement and change. Learning to dance through this cycle is a disciplined and dynamic process of embodied transformation.

This workshop explores the 5Rhythm “Waveform” as a complete medicine. Each of the 5Rhythms (Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness) is considered and practiced as an essential stage in the process of change and new becoming.

The goal is to liberate a full-range of life’s expressions to be authentically moved through us. Our learning will weave a mix of structured and open discovery through individual, partner and group work, focused movement exercises, musical journeys, and periods of open dancing.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PRERREQUISITOS: No prerequisites required.
