Emerging Waves
A 5Rhythms® lightly guided class offered by Kevin Clayton mentored by Alessandro Moruzzi, Vehllia Tranne, and Karen Chapman.Emerging waves is a space held by a 5Rhythms Teacher in Training. In this 5Rhythms class, you are invited to move through the 5Rhythms with simple guidance, exploring body parts, giving space for your personal expression. Music becomes the teacher alongside the Teacher in Training, supporting your movement practice through the Waves map of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness.
Rooted in the teachings of Gabrielle Roth, 5Rhythms® is practiced by tens of thousands of people around the world. It is a movement meditation, a creative path, and a philosophy grounded in the belief that when we move, we heal. Movement becomes both medicine and metaphor--opening space for personal insight, and embodied presence.
This practice welcomes every body, every culture, every age, and every level of experience. Wherever the 5Rhythms are danced, a community forms--one that moves together; sweats together; grows together, and supports one another's freedom and authenticity. Here we meet ourselves and each other with curiosity, kindness, and the courage to be real.

LOCATION: Harmony Farms Movement Yurt. 825 Camino Anglada.
Directions: From Kit Carson Rd turn right on Witt Rd, immediately past Taos Cow turn right on Los Pandos Rd, shortly after turn left on Camino Anglada (dead end dirt road), go all the way to the end of the road and park in area outside gate.

TIMES: Thursday evenings: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Kevin Clayton is currently participating in the training path to become a certified 5Rhythms teacher.
NOTES
-Doors will close 15 minutes after start time. Late arrivals cannot be admitted. -No cellphones or recording devices on the dance floor. -No intoxicants of any kind (this is a sober space) -Come ready and dressed to move and sweat. -Bring water in a closed non breakable container. -Have bare feet or dance specific non-marking shoes if necessary. -No handstands, cartwheels or lifts. -Stay aware and attune to your own body as well as your impact on others. -Always get consent before any physical contact or closer dances. -No chatting on the dance floor. -No gum. -Come unscented. -Full participation at your own level is requested. Please no spectating. -All bodies welcome. -If you are not feeling well or have been exposed to a communicable illness please remain at home.
