Gabrielle saw dance as a sacred community ritual, much like so many tribal societies who came before her did. She taught that energy moves through the universe and our bodies in 5 essential rhythms that she called Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness.
When we dance a full cycle of the 5Rhythms - which Gabrielle called a Wave - we shake out our fears, open our hearts, challenge our ego and expectations, and edge-walk between our old habits and uncharted, new ways of moving and being. We channel erotic energy. We befriend our Shadow.
