In this class you can allow yourself to slow down and unwind from the week.
With the guidance of the 5Rhythms practice, Marjolein will lead you into the dance with “Whooping it up” to letting loose and washing waves.
This weekly class on Friday morning will help you stay fit and connected to your body, your movements and dance. You will learn how to surrender to your dance and how to enjoy being in your own body, aka your life.
Start the weekend in a relaxed and refreshed way.
“Thank Gabrielle it’s Friday”(TGF)
“5Rhythms® is a freestyle dancing practise where there’s no touching needed. We dance on our own, dancing together. By movement and dance we not only can experience joy and fun, we can release emotions, work things through, we can let go of tension and stress. It resets the brain. In these strange times, I strongly believe that this is something we all need” Marjolein Akkerman - 5Rhythms®Teacher in Training.
The class starts with a short warm up, to connect with the space and to stretch your body as you feel needed. See it as a meditation. Leave the chatter behind you when you enter the dancespace. Please be there on time. Marjolein will then guide you into a movement journey where we explore ourselves, together as a group. The focus on your dance, dancing alone or together. After the calm down, we close the dance together, where there's a possibility of sharing.
