If we imagine a human body as an ocean - deep, mysterious and full of live, what treasures might we find deep down? This 3-day workshop is a dive into our deep waters, our emotional world. In the 5Rhythms maps the energies of flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness are related to the basic emotions of fear, anger, sadness, joy and compassion.We start with the Waves level of this practice; it invites us to embody the physical energy of these rhythms. Here we practice to find and hold our ground and center, to release, to connect and to become present with what is. In the Heartbeat level we go deeper and discover the way our emotions move - each of them as an expression of our vitality. This workshop is created and led by a group of 5Rhythms teachers who have been collaborating in projects since 2016. Together they offer an atmosphere of diversity, community and trust.
5Rhythms® is a movement practice developed by Gabrielle Roth. Five different rhythms are gateways to our inner being and a powerful tool for change and well being. This workshop is led by Bettina Leuckert (DE), Dagmar Cee (DE), Heera Andreas Müller (DE), Heike Fuhsy (DE) and Ron Hagendoorn (NL).
Everybody is welcome. No previous experience in 5Rhythms is needed. This workshops counts as 1 day Waves® & 2 day Heartbeat® level towards professional 5Rhythms teacher training.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
