In a city like San Francisco, many cultures, identities, and ways of living move alongside one another every day. This brings richness and creativity, and also speed, friction, and subtle stress in the nervous system.
Many high-functioning adults live in patterns of override. The body keeps functioning and performing, while its signals lose influence. Over time, the nervous system loses range — the ability to move between effort and recovery, activation and rest.
This 4-week 5Rhythms® practice works directly with that — not by thinking about it, but by moving through it.
Each evening moves through the full wave — Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness — while different musical landscapes invite the body into new textures and responses. The structure remains the same. What changes is how the body meets it.
This is not about performing cultural dance forms. It is about experiencing how rhythm organizes human movement across difference — and how the body responds through the same living nervous system.
The space is guided and intentionally personal: less crowd, more guidance, and more contact with your body. There is room to move at your own scale, without performance or pressure.
No choreography. No performance. No dance experience needed.
Come as you are. Move at your own pace. Restore the range that allows your body to respond, adapt, and feel alive again.
