A staccato workshop

Dancing with someone is great and can be complicated at times. In order to be with the other you need to be in contact with yourself at the same time.

All kinds of disruptions appear in between, as it can be difficult to stay connected with ourselves, or hard to see the other.

Dancing staccato, rooted in the body and held in the heart, helps us to define ourselves. As it’s in the body that we feel ourselves, it is there where we develop a healthy sense of self and it’s in the heart that we feel the connection to be able to meet the other with clarity. Beating, pulsing, we are blessed by the art of boundary’s grace. So this is how staccato teaches healthy boundaries, within which we shall stand in that bright abyss.

Un taller de danza Staccato

Bailar con alguien es genial y a veces también puede ser complicado. Para estar con el otro necesitas estar en contacto contigo a la vez. Todo tipo de interferencias emergen entre ambos ya que puede ser complejo permanecer en contacto con uno mismo o difícil ver al otro.

Bailar Staccato, enraizado en el cuerpo y sostenido en el corazón nos ayuda a definirnos. Como es en el cuerpo donde nos sentimos, es allí mismo donde desarrollamos una sana auto percepción y es en el corazón donde se da la conexión para el encuentro con el otro con claridad. A ritmo, a pulso, nos bendice el arte elegante del límite. Así es como el Staccato enseña límites sanos, entre los cuales emergimos ante ese abismo brillante.
