The journey into courage begins with befriending fear. Wise people have described it in many ways:
courage is not the absence of fear but feeling the fear and doing it anyway. This workshop is
an invitation to dance with the fear that holds us back, the longing that draws us forward, and
the surrender that comes when we can hold and move with both.
It takes courage to sense what is true and alive in us – a whisper, a desire, a calling from the
soul – and to follow that call despite the rational voices in our mind, which try to keep us in
the safety of what is known and comfortable.
We need courage to grow and reach for our dreams.
We need courage to feel and show our vulnerability, so we can experience connection.
We need courage to stand up for what matters to us, and to stay in integrity and true to
ourselves.
We need courage to face the unknown and surrender into it — to feel the fear, but also the
excitement and the rewards that follow the leap.
This is the archetypal journey of the hero. And as we are all heroes in our own lives, we are
continuously invited to meet the challenges and possibilities life presents us with. There are
no comfortable shortcuts — but there are many moments of deep joy along the way. On the
other side of our fears, there are rewards we often cannot yet imagine: growth, expansion,
integrity, and sometimes even bliss or ecstasy.
Jumping into the dance is already an act of courage. And gradually, we can dive deeper into
that dance — allowing it to show us a path into our courage and to transform us along the
way.
In this Heartbeat level 5Rhythms® workshop we’ll explore our emotions and how they move
us, energetically and physically. How they shape our bodies and our movements. That creates
an opportunity to discover how these emotional energies fuel our own hero’s journey and map the path into our courageous and tender heart.
Welcome just as you are.
