DESCRIPTION

The Ecstatic Dance Retreat is a week long intensive, held in the healing heart energy of the Big Island of Hawaii at Kalani Retreat Center. This retreat is a safe ceremonial container for all of us to explore, expand and offer our unique creative expressions and gifts. Drawing upon the innate wisdom of our bodies and traversing the maps of the 5Rhythms, we will empty our minds, find our feet, and dive deeply into the inner landscapes of our body, heart, and soul. We will allow the stories of our lives to shape our dance, broadening our awareness and igniting our creativity. Each class will include a body-part meditation, where we consciously offer each part of ourselves to the dance, followed by a guided journey through the Wave of the 5Rhythms. The first class will focus on self. The second class will focus on partnership. The third class will focus on the tribal field.
