DESCRIPTION

Join us for a transformative journey into the body and self-discovery with 5Rhythms® teacher, Majica Alba.

In this single event, our aim is to embody each of the rhythms and provide you with a general sense of the 5Rhythms practice. We'll guide you through a journey of dance and movement exercises creativity designed to deepen your connection to your body. By participating in this workshop, you'll not only increase your understanding and practice of 5Rhythms® but also strengthen your connection to your body. This experience promises to be a transformative exploration of you.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in 5Rhythms®, regardless of your experience level. We actively seek to create a diverse community of dancers. We value and welcome diversity of racial and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression, religious background and/or belief systems, marital status, family structure, educational and class status.

No dance experience needed. Hours count toward the 5Rhythms Teacher training prerequisites.

​Class: $15-25 Sliding scale

Workshop Cost: $45 before April 1st/ $55 after/ $65 at the door

SCHEDULE:

10:30am-12pm Waves Class with Majica Alba ($15-25 drop-in, not included in workshop cost)

12pm-1:30pm: Lunch Break (bring your own)

1:30pm-4:30pm: Embodied Being Workshop
