DESCRIPTION

This Eye of the Storm movement meditation workshop will assist in alleviating the stress and anxiety that comes from urban living. You will learn to cultivate a sense of calm, tranquility and physical grounding in the middle of your chaotic life. We will rejuvenate and re-calibrate our physical, emotional and mental systems through the 5Rhythms movement maps of Stillness & Chaos. We will use a wide range of music and explore non-linear Movement – wild, gentle, true, ordinary, breath-taking – in dynamic balance through body, heart and mind. This is a complimentary practice to any type of Yoga. Experience is not required and all are welcome regardless of age, health or gender and no previous 5Rhythms classes are required to understand the process. There is no right or wrong, only presence and unconsciousness. When we are unconscious, we miss out on seeing the great beauty of storms. Free the body and everything else comes naturally. It is a matter of choice. The Storm is in you! We invite you to dance through your personal chaos and unravel the always-present stillness of your own dance.

NOTES

Hello Participants, Please remember to bring snacks, lots of water, loose clothing, and warm clothing for the cool down periods. Times 4pm-7pm (try and arrive 15 minutes early) Please bring some writing materials also. A journal Pad, pen, pencil and a marker (any colour or Size). Much Love Evangelos

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
