DESCRIPTION

In this workshop we will follow the 5Rhythms Waves Map through our dancing bodies to awaken our intuition and track our imagination into the power of seeing. We will hold the 5Rhythms perspective as a template and move in the realm of the poetic to create visual expressions of these landscapes. Using random multiple mediums we will work solo and collaboratively to investigate the power and beauty of these installations of the heart. We will dance deep and the movement will fuel the artist who is alive in all of us. Specific guidelines for 5Rhythms Visual for movement events and ritual celebrations and the opportunity to create your interpretations will be offered. We will dance deep and create art. Music is offered by Ron Hagendoorn. Martha Peabody is the founder of 5Rhythms Visual. She met Gabrielle Roth at Esalen Institute in Big Sur California in 1974, the beginning of a 39 year artistic relationship spanning the development of the 5Rhythms practice as we know it now.
