I’s of the Soul

This is the journey of the spirit through the body. We bring awareness to the space within as we carve our path through our existence. When spirit has the space to move freely, we find ecstasy. Ecstasy, not as an escape or a high, but as embodied awareness and presence.

The 5Rhythms will be our container and guide. Flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness are the teachers that will inform our exploration. The 5Rhythms is our practice and our ritual.

Join me on this I-map of the soul’s journey to ecstasy as we explore inertia, imitation, intuition, imagination and inspiration together on the dance floor.

NOTES

We recommend you have attended some 5Rhythms Waves classes prior to attendance. All workshop hours are prerequisites for the 5Rhythms® teacher training.

This workshop offers an allocation of tickets at different price points i.e. ‘Tiers‘.

We have a broad range of financial capacity in our community. Please reflect on what you are able to pay and choose accordingly, keeping in mind that there are a limited number of tickets at the lowest price.

If you need a reduced price to attend, please purchase Tier 1.

Payment plans can be arranged. If this would support your attendance please write to us at 5Rhythms@movingessence.com.

If you can afford a bit more, please choose from Tier 2 or 3. There will be an allocation of tickets for each tier and the number of tickets remaining will display in the checkout below.

One additional tier ‘pay it forward’ invites members of our dance community to join us in creating subsidised places for those who need it. Please write to us if you need a subsidised place to be able to attend.

Refund Policy

To cover our time and these costs, workshop cancellations will incur a 10% Admin fee if a refund is required. Please contact the producer if you need to cancel.

We cannot refund or credit a cancellation once the workshop has started.

Workshop dancers can opt to transfer a place to another person (and they pay you) however please discuss with producer to ensure they meet the workshop requirements (e.g. they need to have done 5Rhythms before).

We can also hold your workshop place as a full credit towards another Moving Essence workshop. We will notify people on the credit list whenever a workshop is announced. Many people use this system.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
