DESCRIPTION

A day-long, outdoors, in-the-wild 5Rhythms workshop on Salt Spring Island.

we gather while the light changes

one season tipping into the next

winnowing

one cycle, one phase making way for another

as we move through rhythm and time

Together we will honour the beginnings, middles, and endings

respect the fallow time

Tending to ourselves and our true rhythms

So that we may meet this turning time

with our full and seasoned selves.

Time: 10:30am to 4:00pm

Standard: $90

Supporter: $95 and above

The 5Rhythms® is a powerful movement practice which guides participants to re-connect with their own innate body-knowledge, wellness, and wisdom. Each of the 5Rhythms – Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness – is a distinct field of energy-in-motion, and each one holds specific teachings.

Since 2001, Joanne has held a steady space for the growth and evolution of Victoria’s robust 5Rhythms community, and has shared her love of this practice with students throughout the region. She approaches this work with a deep respect for its alchemical nature, and for the unique discovery process of each participant.

Refund Policy

50% refund for cancellations on or before August 25th. Full refund, less a 10% admin fee, for cancellations due to illness.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
