DESCRIPTION
If you haven't seen Jewel perform her poetry, this is your opportunity. Through dance, using the lens of the 5Rhythms practice, Jewel will inspire you with practical and magical ways to initiate or invigorate your writing practice and find your fullest voice. Grateful for all the exceptional teachers that have fed her passion for writing and poetry, she's excited to pass on these tips and techniques. Dancers, there will be no silent writing time, so if words aren't flowing you still can. Writers will get a unique, 5Rhythms perspective on the craft. Get a jolt of Jewel Friday evening or a full weekend jigga-jolt of inspiration. All levels welcomed.NOTES
Bring dance gear, a journal and your sacred, sassy self each day. Writers/poets bring passages and poems to shape and share. On Sunday we will collectively create a sacred, ritual reading. (Don't sweat this piece.) Please know that reading is always optional. You can participate in the reading session, supporting tribal shapes and repetitive movements without ever uttering a word.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
