I have heard for the last 15 years that we are living in chaos. What is chaos, except expectations not being met? Really, we expect something to happen and it doesn’t so we call it chaos. Emotions are chaos for most of us. They are unexpected, have a life of their own, are unwieldy, and are often unwelcome. And yet, if we bring a soft fluency to bear with any of them, we are given the very life we long to live.  

In this retreat, we will create a strong container for softly surrendering to the feelings present in the moment. The ocean, the house, the dance, the healings from Anand, the companionship of fellow travelers will collectively weave a soft cocoon, fostering your organic becoming.

Join us for a movement and embodiment retreat on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Over five days we will dance, share nourishing meals together, breathe the salt air, cold plunge in the ocean, soak in the hot tub and float in the indoor pool. We will soften into the collective experience of being human. Anand will offer individual energetic Brennan healings to each participant to support and deepen the retreat experience.


The retreat will run from Thursday evening (Feb 29) to Monday early afternoon (March 4). Group meals will be provided beginning with dinner Thursday until lunch on Monday. The house will be available until Tuesday (March 5) at 9am, and all dancers are invited to stay and enjoy the community, house, and ocean for one additional night at no additional charge. Monday dinner and Tuesday breakfast will not be provided.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
