DESCRIPTION
A day to celebrate the Summer Solstice in dance, movement and ceremony.In this 5Rhythms workshop we’ll explore the relationship between Staccato and Lyrical, the rhythms of fire and air.
If the sun’s shining we’ll spend some time outside, basking in the heat of the sun, and if it’s a cold and wet Solstice we’ll bring the heat of Staccato into our dance! Staccato also brings shape and form. Here, we stand tall and walk a path with heart.
Lyrical lends us wings. In combining the rhythms of Staccato and Lyrical, we’re exploring how we can hold a light and clear focus. Gifting wings to our intentions, letting our to-do lists fly!
New and experienced dancers equally welcome.
