DESCRIPTION

Ecoute, contribution, partage.

Horaires : samedi 14h30 - 19h

Tarif : 70€.

Réservation recommandée : Acompte de 30€. Chèque à l'ordre de Les vies dansent à adresser à : Amélie Schweiger – 8 Bis avenue de Sumène – 34190 Ganges.

NOTES

Dance as a personal and collective ecology.

Listening, contributing, sharing.

Dance is an ecological practice: it invites us to deepen our personal and social balance in resonance with our environment. This workshop will allow us to expand our awareness and creativity beyond the solo or duet to the wider sphere of the group and the environment in which we live.

Most of us agree that it is easier to dance with others than alone. The collective energy feeds our individual dance. The more each of us dances our own dance, the more space we offer to others for inspiration and permission. We will dance in the awareness of these subtle exchanges. Each of us will draw from it to affirm the singularity of our dance while participating in the common momentum. At a time of uniformity and globalisation, the sharing of dance will invite us to rediscover the taste for interpersonal links and solidarity on a human scale.

What perceptions of events around me? How can I be both centred and connected to what is happening around me? How can I propose, welcome, rebound and participate with my own identity? How can I cultivate responsiveness to the moment, openness to compromise and the unexpected? What is my special contribution to the united and connected whole? These are some of the questions that will nourish our dance.

We will cultivate the art of reconciling presence to oneself, to others and to space. We will seek to go beyond the individualism that isolates and separates by an assumed and generous individuality enriched by belonging to the circle. Through a participative and collaborative approach, we will practice dance as an art of joyful, benevolent, constructive and creative cooperation.

Collective improvisations, based on a few common points of reference, will facilitate playful and sensitive interactions and reinforce the audacity and inventiveness of our free and spontaneous dances.

"There is a vitality, a life force, a stimulation that, through you, is transformed into action, and because there is only one you in all times, this expression is unique. If you hold it back, no one else will ever manifest it and it will be lost. The world will not know it. It is not for you to decide its value, nor to compare it with what others express. Your task is to keep the channel open" Martha Graham.

Open to all, regardless of age, physical condition, dance experience or not.

Times: Saturday 2.30 - 7pm

Price : 70€.

Reservation recommended: Deposit of 30€. Cheque payable to Les vies dansent to be sent to Amélie Schweiger - 8 Bis avenue de Sumène - 34190 Ganges.
