DESCRIPTION
Held by the live music of our own Prayerbody musicians as well as very special guest GORDY RYAN. Gordy was Gabrielle Roth's original drummer, traveling across the globe with her while she developed the 5Rhythms. Concurrently for 30 years, he played with Baba Olatunji's Drums of Passion. As a recording artist he's played on albums with Olatunji, Santana, Gabrielle Roth, David Sanborn, Mickey Hart, Bruce Langhorne, Roger Fisher and many more as well as movie soundtracks with Eddie Murphy, Nile Rogers, Spike Lee & others. In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
