In this 5Rhythms® Gathering, we will explore the natural range within each rhythm—where energy flows, and where it tightens, hesitates, or goes quiet. Rather than trying to “get it right,” this is a space to notice how movement lives in us, and to stay present with the full spectrum of our dance.

The patterns we call shadow are not mistakes—they are intelligent responses that once helped us feel safe. When met with awareness, they begin to move.

Inertia isn’t separate from fluidity—it’s movement that stopped responding.

Rigidity isn’t separate from clarity—it’s clarity that has tightened.

Confusion isn’t separate from surrender—it’s surrender that lost its center.

Numbness isn’t separate from freedom—it’s freedom that lost sensation.

Isolation isn’t separate from presence—it’s presence without connection.

Through the moving meditation of the 5Rhythms®, we allow light and shadow to move as expressions of the same energy—unfolding and reorganizing through the body.
