Experiencing and expressing emotions are an essential part of life. Yet, for many of us, emotions remain mysterious, confusing, and difficult to express constructively. Some of us lash out and emotionally blow-up, others are emotionally stuck, frozen, and numb; some of us have our hearts open and others have our hearts on lock-down. Emotions are physical and instinctive and yet we can get trapped in mental stories and reactions that no longer serve us. 

 If we practice being with a spontaneous heart and getting emotionally fluid we can experience emotions serving an essential role; Fear protects; Sadness releases; Anger defends; Joy uplifts; and Compassion heals. 

There is tremendous healing and transformation that can occur in simple and clear emotionally fluid expression.

 In this weekend workshop we will explore the Rhythms of the Heart, to provide us access to a more full, alive, embodied expression of life, and to create more loving relationships with ourselves and others. Through the embodiment of the 5Rhythms practice, you will be shown skills and techniques to take home and apply to your daily life. This workshop is designed for everyone; every age and shape. 


Hours: Friday: 7-9pm; Saturday: 11-6pm; Sunday: 11-4pm

*All workshop hours will qualify towards the 5Rhythms teacher-training path.

*This is a 5Rhythms Waves/Heartbeat workshop and we recommend 12 hours of basic 5Rhythms Waves practice (multiple Waves classes or one weekend Waves workshop). Please be in touch if you have any questions.

In Heartbeat we explore our emotions as energy, as power, as part of being human. Old feelings that have been locked in our limbs or caged in our chest begin to shake loose. We get comfortable with feelings, neither hanging onto them nor pushing them away.
