DESCRIPTION

We, as human beings, used to live in groups, communities and tribe’s. 

It was our survival and for most of us, it still is.

The dancefloor is for many of us excactly the place where we experience that sense of belonging. When we drop into the wisdom of our bodies, we easily plug into that ancient human nature of weaving together.

Tribal Heart offers an opportunity to share our love for the dance and give permission to all that wants to be moved. 

The dancefloor represents the landscape of a big heart that holds us all. We all have our qualities and offerings for a group. Some of us bring laughter, energy, fire. Some bring dreams, stilness or solitude. We are meant to share and support eachother. It is balm for the heart when we arrive in places where we are recognized in who we are. 

Bring it all into the heart to celebrate our differences and our sameness.

Let’s come together to find refuge in the dance and in each others company.

Willemijn de Dreu: “I have been coming to Algau since 20 years, in a close collaboration with Bala Gesenhaus. I am alway’s inspired by the ’tribalness’ of the dance community there so I am very happy to go back with this workshop.”

I am part of many different tribes and trained in 5Rhythms, OpenFloor, Systemic Ritual and Body-oriented trauma therapy.

My love for humanity, all other life forms and the world we live on runs deep.

Practicals:We will mainly meet on the dancefloor but for those who want there is other gatherings during the weekend. Dinner, fire, swimming.

Also there is a campsite for those who come camping.

Times: friday night Open to all Waves evening; 19.30 - 22.00. 

Sat 10.30 - 18.00, Sunday 10.30 - 17.00

Costs ; friday night only: € 20,-

Full workshop if booked and paid before €195,- After that date € 225, -
