Building on the groundwork undertaken by local teachers and dancers, and taking inspiration from the Cambridge 5R community, a small team of dancers have got together to form this new initiative. We are dancing on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month at a beautiful church on Aylsham Road in Norwich with a programme of visiting teachers. It's an open class and there are normally first-timers at each session so just come a little before 6.45pm and we will welcome you. Most people choose to dance barefoot, but if you prefer you can wear dance shoes or soft-soled shoes. Please bring a bottle of water, and don't forget to warm up your body well to avoid muscle strain. A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
