DESCRIPTION
"When we dance the shadows, when we name whatever is going on we give ourselves and others permission to experience something without shame!" ~ Gabriele RothWithout light there are no shadows. Light is fundamental for life, and Shadows are dancing together with it.
Our body create shadows in the physical world, and our own selves create shadows in our emotional world.
Running away, ignoring or fighting them is not going to makes us safer or better. To move toward a true consciousness of ourselves as a whole we need to recognize and embrace our own shadows. And it's even possible to enjoy them as they are actually revealing parts and shapes of ourselves that might surprise us, and that are not necessarily scary or threatening as they might look, at a first glance.
The shadows are a natural projection of ourselves that we need to recognize, so to fully accept the complexity and the wonder of who we are.
Let's play with them, and make it into a discovery dance with our unknown self. And truly connect that dance that we create on the floor with our deepest internal shadows, and play even more and dance even more, accepting, without judgement, whatever wants to reveal itself in the moment.
And let them become inspiring shapes melting into the light.

Refund Policy
30 days in advance: $25 cancellation fee. 14 days in advance: $50 cancellation fee. No refunds can be issued less than 14 days from the start of a workshop.
The City Waves reserves the right to cancel any workshop in the event of insufficient registration or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case, the full amount paid to register for a workshop will be refunded to the registrants. In the event of cancellation, an attempt will be made to notify registrants no later than 10 calendar days before the start of the workshop. All other expenses incurred including but not limited to flights and accommodation arranged for the purpose of attending a workshop will not be covered.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
