May 1, 2021In December 2008, I heard about a local dance with “no alcohol, no drugs and bare feet”. Intrigued, I called the organiser. Would it be OK if my only recent dance experience was as an embarrassing uncle at a wedding? She replied “That’s perfect, you’ll love it!

April 1, 2021I never realized dancing in a room together with other people was something I was taking for granted. Looking back, it’s screamingly ironic that the upheaval 5Rhythms practice predicted rhythmically in the dance was an upheaval that no one, teacher nor producer nor student, was actually prepared for logistically.

March 1, 2021Never in my 25 years of dancing have I experienced the power of 5Rhythms so deeply as I did this year.
Yes, dancing with Gabrielle was like time travel and super magical and changed my whole life.
But this year, more than ever, 5Rhythms proved itself as a practical life elixir for many. Even for people who don’t really have anything to do with dancing.
