UNIFY: A 5Rhythms Exploration of the Mature Masculine

These qualities of the mature masculine are subverted by the patriarchy, the lying politician, the abusive lover, and the gangster; symptomatic of a society that disproportionately reveres the boy masquerading as man. The immature masculine has its place in the vital and vibrant spark of boyhood. When it fails to develop and takes the place of mature masculine awareness and leadership in the actions of men and perceptions of women, all are wounded.

In this weekend Waves workshop, we will try on the many shapes of the masculine, tapping our body intelligence to sift and move the stories and patterns, and distilling the essence of our present awareness of masculine energy into embodied action.
