a day-long Solstice 5Rhythms® workshop with Joanne
we gather on the longest day

to resource ourselves and one another
through movement, reflection, and simple ceremony

for the land and waters where we live

exploring and re-committing to what is ours to take care of, to learn, to offer, and to live.

The 5Rhythms® is a powerful movement practice which guides participants to re-connect with their own innate body-knowledge, wellness, and wisdom. Each of the 5Rhythms – Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness – is a distinct field of energy-in-motion, and each one holds specific teachings.
Since 2001, Joanne has held a steady space for the growth and evolution of Victoria’s robust 5Rhythms community, and has shared her love of this practice with students throughout the region. She approaches this work with a deep respect for its alchemical nature, and for the unique discovery process of each participant.PRIJAVI SE!
As we continue to unfurl ourselves deeper into summer, and enjoy the feelings of opening and expanding, what is it that you are stretching towards? What is moving in you that is ready to unfurl? As we shake off the hibernation and isolation of the past year, we have the opportunity to create new pathways and patterns for our bodies to explore and move with.In this workshop, we will:
•Dance, using “Silent Disco” headphones
•Meditate in nature – both sitting and walking
•Connect and share with others in the group
All COVID protocols will be followed. Headphones are properly sanitized.
