"For me, the empty space is the ultimate comfort zone, pure energy, pure being, pure connection. It is where you lose your sense of self-consciousness, where you are no longer standing outside yourself but are completely at one with who you are at that moment." - Gabrielle Roth
In this workshop we will explore the vast final rhythm of Stillness. We will practice seated meditation, walking meditation and dancing the Stillness Wave. We will investigate how the experiences of meditation, both sublime and mundane, can be danced.

Medicine Circle: A 5Rhythms movement ceremony with Sylvie Minot in NYC
January 17th-19th, 2020
Sylvie invites you to join her in NYC at the start of the new year for Medicine Circle. Medicine Circle workshops weave together movement, ritual, community, sound, prayer, and connection to Spirit.
We use the 5Rhythms® dance practice, draw from cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien’s teachings and her work with indigenous culture, and incorporate sound healing practices Sylvie cultivated while studying with Tito La Rosa.
This intensive weekend offers a deep immersion into a soulful dance journey. As we create this sacred container to hold each other, dancers may enter into the center and move with whatever is calling for expression or healing, finding greater freedom, connection and peace.
All are welcome to join.
Sylvie Minot is the executive director and founder of Syzygy Dance Project, a 5Rhythms teacher, and the creator of Medicine Circle. She has studied psychology, indigenous healing rituals, energy medicine, and sound healing and is inspired by the teachings of Angeles Arrien, Carolyn Myss, and Tito La Rosa. Sylvie has led Medicine Circle groups in various locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and well as Arizona, Mexico, and Australia.
