Ours is a rigorous, cathartic, heart-shattering investigation into the power of being real in an impersonal, disconnected world.  We offer a sweat-filled prayer to shake us out of our collective coma into a rebellious, rhythmic response.  5RT is movement theater that transforms us into an interactive explosion of rawness, originality and tribal sensibility.

5RT events are crafted from the dojo of the body and the zendo of the mind.  Pieces are made from scratch in the moment, only to disappear back into the dance.  And what remains is an inspired presence, which hopefully returns to its neighborhood, to its lovers and other strangers with a deeper sense of who we are becoming.

5RT Labs are designed to develop actors and investigative individuals into what Artaud describes as “athletes of the heart.”  Holy Actors, like athletes, need ways to workout, to prepare, to immerse themselves in the heart of their work.  The 5Rhythms has been adapted to the special needs of actors committed to the embodiment of their craft.
